About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, China. I joined the Key Laboratory of Big Data Storage and Management of MIIT of China, since Mar. 2018. I am also a ( postdoctoral researcher ) at University of Pennsylvania, PA, USA. I earned my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Xi’an, China, in Dec. 2017. From 2018 to 2020, I was a postdoctoral fellow with Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA, and Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. From 2020 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher with University of Pennsylvania, PA, USA. I am a member of the International Educational Data Mining Society (IEDMS) and China Computer Federation (CCF). I am guiding a research group of machine learning in education (MLE) in the Data Mining and Bioinformatics Lab (DMBL) led by Prof. Xuequn Shang at NPU.
